Boston at Vancouver Game 5 Recap

VANCOUVER CANUCKS- Last night Canucks and Bruins were tied for the first two periods. Until the 3rd. It was a remake of Game 1. Same Place, Same Goalie that got scored, Same goalie that got a shutout. But not the same player that scored.
Maxim Lapierre scores in the 3rd to give the Canucks a 1-0 win and a chance to win the cup in Boston on Monday.
Best of The Game:
Legend: G-Poistion=Goalie, Other= Goals, P-Points SV%- Save Percentage GWG-Game winning Games(in the series)
Roberto Luongo is one win away from making history. If they win the cup, Luongo would make it into the Triple Gold Club, making him the first goalie to do so. He got a 100% save percentage last night. His performance was so great to make it 10/10.
Position: G SV%: 100% Game Performance: 10/10
Maxim Lapierre was the game winner last night. He is one of three Canuck Players to score a game winning goal this series(alongside Raffi Torres and Alex Burrows). His performance was so good because of the great shots and goal he received.
Goals: 1 Assists: 0 Points: 1 GWG: 1 Game Performance: 10/10

One More:
The Canucks have never won a Stanley Cup before. There was 1982, and 1994. Vancouver has existed since about 40 years ago. They had the old, different jerseys. The currently-alternate jersey was the first jersey. It was called Stick in the Rink. The second was the "Flying V" then Flying Skate jersey then the orca one.
If the Canucks do win Monday nights game, they win what the franchise has been looking for for forty years. Henrik Sedin would captain them. Lapierre and Luongo were Game 5 winners.

Boston has been a nasty team. Especially the fans. That is why they want to show off in Boston.
Vancouver has only been winning in Vancouver's Rodgers Arena, so what will Game 6 bring us?

Vancouver vs Boston Game 2 Recap

Vancouver vs Boston Game 2 Recap

It was a close game last night. But this time it wasn't tied for the whole game it was tied at the end of regulation. So that mean't sudden death overtime.

The game started with Alex Burrows scoring on a Chara-Penalty. Manny Malhotra was back for Game 2, so he assisted it along with Sami Salo.
The second and third goal was for Boston in Period 2. One for Milian Lucic and one for Mark Recchi. It stayed like that(2-1) until about 9 minutes into the 3rd Period, all of Rodgers Arena was sighing from all the scoring chances. Until Daniel Sedin put it in to tie it 2-2. It stayed that way all the way into the end of regulation. It was time for the could be long overtime hardly anyone got into their seats to watch the start. Edler passed the puck to D. Sedin, Daniel passed it to Alex Burrows, Burrows faked the shot, Thomas was way out of his net, Burrows wrapped the puck right into the net to score 11 seconds into overtime. What a long overtime!

Winnipeg's NHL team to be featured in NHL 12

EA SPORTS NHL 12- It has just been a couple of days after NHL's huge annoucment involving Winnipeg. The NHL said that Winnipeg will get a team before the next hockey season later this year.
And then just one day after that anncoucment, IGN said that "Winnipeg's team will be in EA Sports' NHL 12, coming in September".
Atlanta Thrashers will NOT be in the game because it is Winnipeg now.
Atlanta will probaly never ever get an NHL team again because they have gone through two teams, Atlanta Flames(moved to Calgary, AB) then 13 years later Atlanta Thrashers came. A few years later they lose it to Winnipeg, MB.

Boston Bruins vs Vancouver Canucks Game 1 Recap

Boston Bruins at Vancouver Canucks Game 1 Recap
The Vancouver Canucks deposited the Boston Bruins yesterday to win 1-0. They also lead the series 1-0.

The game was a BIG story, and a LONG one. Roberto Luongo got first star in the game, and deserved it. He got a save precentage of 1.000, creating a shutout.

This game wasn't all goals, it was ALL penalties.
These two teams HATE each other. At Rodgers Arena, everyone thought it was going to overtime, with the score 0-0, but it didn't. With 19 seconds left on the clock, Kesler passed it to Hansen, Hansen passed it to Torres and they scored the winning goal.
