Some reporters have said it could be called Winnipeg Moose, an reference to Manitoba Moose, the AHL relative to the Vancouver Canucks. I think it should be called the Winnipeg Jets, people have jerseys that say, "Winnipeg Jets".
The Jets' meter is getting very close to " Drop the Puck". *Last Updated May 25 of 2011*
VANCOUVER CANUCKS- May 24, 1994, Vancouver Canucks battled the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 5. It went all the way into 2OT, until Vancouver Canucks' Greg Adams scored. 17 years later, May 24, 2011. Vancouver and San Jose, Game 5. Ryan Kessler ties it up with 13.2 seconds left on the clock. Then it went all the way into 2OT, A. Edler receives the puck, tries to clear it behind Niemi's net, every person in Rodgers Arena didn't know where the puck went.
What the puck actually did: bounced off the glass, and landed next to K. Bieksa.
Kevin Bieksa shoots it, Niemi doesn't notice it, and the next thing you know, 1994 has been redone. The Canucks hope the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals will not be redone, especially not the 1994 riot.
