Why can't Jets be named Jets; Western Conference Champs

WINNIPEG JETS- Fans go crazy after what is said that the NHL could be coming back to Manitoba. Winnipeg Jets fans have waited patient for the Winnipeg Jets return, but will it still be called the classic name, Winnipeg Jets?

Some reporters have said it could be called Winnipeg Moose, an reference to Manitoba Moose, the AHL relative to the Vancouver Canucks. I think it should be called the Winnipeg Jets, people have jerseys that say, "Winnipeg Jets".
